Ingredients
  

  • 2 lb lean ground beef (90/10) can substitute with ground turkey
  • 1 large yellow onion diced
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp cumin powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 2 tsp kosher salt
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 15 oz can of black beans drained & rinsed
  • 30 oz can of kidney beans drained & rinsed
  • 30 oz can of diced tomatoes
  • 10 oz can of diced tomatoes with green chilis
  • 30 oz tomato sauce
  • green onions & shredded cheese for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heart and add the ground beef, breaking into pieces, until browned.
  • Add diced yellow onion to the pan with the meat and cook for 4-5 minutes until the onions are translucent.
  • Add all dry seasonings and the minced garlic and cook for another 30-45 seconds, stirring consistently. Transfer the pan contents to your slow cooker.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients to your slow cooker and stir to combine. Set on high and cook for 4 hours, or on low for 7-8 hours. Season to taste with salt and pepper and garnish with your favorite toppings. Enjoy!
